Quality Engineer

Join Facil India as a Quality Engineer – and be a pioneer in our Fastening Future Mobility!
As one of the first members of our Facil India team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch quality for our Indian customers and suppliers.

As a quality engineer, you will be the face of Facil to our customers, taking charge of key quality processes and being the essential link between Facil and our customers. You’ll have the exciting responsibility of:

• Managing and resolving customer complaints
• Overseeing inspections of incoming and outgoing goods
• Managing and leading internal and external audits for Facil India 
• Representing quality in various projects and programs
• Follow-up of our change management system for quality-related input
• Owning the Facil PPAP process and portal
• Auditing, monitoring, and enhancing our local Indian supplier base
• Achieve customer satisfaction demands in terms of application support, cost reduction, standardization and other engineering-related customer-specific demands

You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues on various international quality projects, broadening your scope and impact.
You’ll report directly to the Branch Manager in Bangalore and be a key driver in the success of Facil’s India operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equal by experience
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive sector is a requirement and experience with fasteners is a big plus.
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards (PPAP, APQP,  ...) 
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or be in possession of other Quality Certifications
• Entrepreneur, meticulous and analytical mindset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player but also able to work independently
• High-quality mindset and customer focus
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English
