Key Account Manager

Facil Asia is looking for a Key Account Manager to support our sales team, working from our offices in Bangalore (India).

Position Summary:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team, providing best-in-class service to an existing major customer. You will analyze the customer's request for a quotation and be in close contact with various Facil departments to prepare and present the best possible offer to the customer. You are building a long-term trust relationship with this customer and ensuring that the customer’s needs and expectations are met. Thanks to your helicopter view, you can identify opportunities for further growth and highlight potential risks.
In addition, you will also act as the liaison between the customer and different layers within the internal departments to ensure maximum service to the customer.

Revision and negotiation of customer contracts together with the Facil team is one of the most challenging parts of your job. You will be responsible for implementing the Facil strategy to secure a healthy margin. Next to that, you will be responsible for communicating these new contracts within the entire organization.

Implementation and follow-up of new customer projects are another interesting part of this job. You execute the operational plan as part of the global sales strategy and report the status on a regular basis. While doing so you apply and safeguard the Facil values as part of a great international Facil team.

You will report directly to the Branch Manager India. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role in sales in the automotive industry
  • Technical interest is required, and mechanical or material knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: proven track record of building and maintaining relationships internally and with customers, while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Good knowledge of English; fluency in French/ Japanese is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP or SalesForce, is a plus.
