First Line ICT Support Engineer

That's why we're looking for a First Line ICT Support Engineer who will not only provide daily support to our colleagues but also brings a passion for learning and a drive to take on new challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for internal users (1st line support).
• Receive, register, and resolve ICT-related incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with 2nd and 3rd line support engineers for efficient issue resolution.
• Assist users with software, hardware, and network access.
• Document solutions and maintain knowledge databases.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and procedures.
• Evaluate, quote, implement, configure, and test hardware.
• Administer and support local and site hardware and software (scanners, tablets, servers, PCs, access points, printers, switches, firewalls).
• Manage and monitor local and wide area networks.
• Oversee security management, monitoring, and access authorization.
• Follow up on backups across different environments.
• Being the backup & support for the first-line support engineer in other regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Graduate degree in ICT or equal by experience (1-4 years)
• Professional IT-related know-how (hardware, software, infrastructure and network)
• Customer focus mindset, problem solver & good communication skills
• Team player & ability to work independently
• Fluent knowledge of English and Dutch
• Flexible to work outside standard working hours (exceptional)
• Flexible to make short business trips within Europe if requested
