Finance Manager Europe

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Finance contact for the different (4) business lines for region Europe (active in Belgium, Sweden, Germancy, France and Spain) 
• Management of a team
• Responsible for the general accountancy and the management of specific files from A - Z
• Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for the different business lines, countries, branches, etc.
• Coordinate, prepare and distribute the budget and forecast
• Responsible for daily cash management, working capital, credit management and cash flow reporting
• Implement and maintain internal controls
• Responsible for all tax-related matters for European countries: corporate income tax, VAT, etc.
• Contribute pro-actively to the realisation of improvement projects within the department
• Follow-up about the evolutions, trends and developments within finance and finance-related laws.
• Apply and safeguard the Facil values in daily operations

Qualifications: 

• Master Applied Economics / Commercial Engineer or Bachelor Accountancy with relevant experience
• Professional experience, minimum 10 years of experience in a multinational environment, preferably with experience in audit
• Good knowledge of accounting, tax and payroll legislation
• Knowledge of other accounting standards is an asset
• Insight into business processes
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English. French and German are a plus
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office 
• Figure minded & analytical
• Planning, follow-up and coordination
