AR Supervisor

Facil North America, Inc., is seeking an AR Supervisor for our Finance area located in Toluca, Estado de México.

Position Summary

Our AR Supervisor is responsible for complete and timely invoicing of delivered goods and services, daily booking of all cash receipts and clearing of the debtor accounts, contact with clients, nationally and internationally, and managing and providing support to the accounts receivable team. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager NA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Credit management
  • Follow up with the debtors in close cooperation with the sales department
  • Preparing and analysing the overdue reporting
  • Dunning the customers
  • Co-responsible for the management of credit risk
  • Assistance with and preparation of the month-end closings
  • Checking and managing the customer master data for completeness and correctness, finding and correcting differences and inaccuracies and managing changes
  • Key User of credit management tool: automation and digitization processes within the AR area
  • Proactively contribute to the realization of improvement processes in the own department.
  • Make adjustments to the SAP system
  • Assisting in external audit processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equal experience required in accountancy
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of local/regional accounting legislation and ERP systems (preferably SAP) is an asset.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Insight into business processes.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex information and apply it to practical situations.
  • Proven history of personal initiative, efficiency, attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and performing quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Strong MS Excel skills are required. Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package is required. Knowledge of other industry-specific or custom software is a plus.
