On Thursday December 15th, 2022, in presence of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, H.E. PHẠM Minh Chính, the Flanders Minister President H.E. Jan JAMBON, and distinguished members of both governments, VinFast EU’s COO Ms. NGUYỄN Thanh Thúy and Facil’s CEO Luc DE MUNCK signed a Letter of Intent, thereby formalizing Facil’s plans to start its local operation in Hải Phòng, Vietnam, close to VinFast’s state-of-the-art manufacturing complex.
The two parties would collaborate to optimize the supply chain, reduce CO2 emission and shorten the time to market.
Facil is the fastener FSP for all vehicles that are produced since the production of the very first VinFast “Lux” vehicle in 2019. Since then, VinFast switched to manufacturing and selling smart, safe, and environmentally friendly Electric Vehicles (EV), including electric buses and electric SUVs for the Vietnamese market. VinFast is entering European and global market with two premium SUV products – VF8 and VF9.
